For those who are interested in Japan tourism, I’d like to recommend you to visit Tohoku (the northern area of Japan) which has rich nature, sakura (cherry blossoms), hot spring (onsen), delicious food and sake, Akita dog, Namahage (traditional folklore) and so on. Here, you can find how to get to our Tohoku region from Tokyo!

The “Komachi” will take you directly to Akita from Tokyo. It will stop at cities as Sendai (Miyagi) and Morioka (Iwate) so it’s also fun to visit these areas. In Sendai, there are such Japanese-style hotels called “ryokan” as “Ichinobo”. Also, in Morioka, a traditional Japanese building and garden remain in “Nanshoso”. They will relax you very much!
Tickets for “Komachi” are sold at “Midori no Madoguchi” (JR ticket office) and online as well.
